Bo Rasmussen - President
Mr. Rasmussen is the founding member and a managing partner with over 30 years experience in the multifamily, mixed-use and commercial real estate industry. Mr. Rasmussen holds a Master of Business Administration and a Civil Engineering Technology Diploma. He has extensive experience in leadership, strategic planning, financial modeling, budgeting, risk management and market analysis in Canadian and international markets. He establishes company goals and objectives and monitors their execution and is a resource for the project team to draw upon for advice and support. Mr. Rasmussen has successfully developed over $750M of multifamily projects throughout his career.
Stephanie Li - CFO
Ms. Li joined BDL Development Ltd. as Chief Financial Officer in April 2025. She brings more than 15 years of finance experience to her role at BDL, with a particular speciality in high-growth and future-forwarded environments. Ms. Li was previously the Vice President, Finance at a real estate investment trust listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange, the CFO at an environmental technology company listed on the TSX Venture Exchange, Chair of the Board and Audit Committee Chair at a leading technology company listed on the TSX, and served in a leadership role at one of Canada’s largest multi-family REITs listed on the TSX. Ms. Li holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta. She is a Chartered Professional Accountant, Chartered Accountant and PwC alumni.
Steve James - SVP, Construction & Development
Mr. James is a managing partner at Birchcliff. His professional career has spanned over 35 years with a focus on construction and development, including multifamily - midrise rental apartments, condominiums, commercial construction and single family dwellings. Mr. James is a Red Seal Journeyman Carpenter; as SVP he is responsible for business strategy, contract negotiation, construction oversight, and team leadership. Mr. James has multifamily development experience in several provinces and territories nationwide, including BC, AB, SK, MB, ON, NL, NT and NU.
Paul Dick - VP, Development
Mr. Dick is a managing partner with over 10 years experience in the multifamily, mixed-use and light Industrial real estate construction and development industry. Mr. Dick holds a Bachelor's Degree in Law & Society. He leads and directs the company's preconstruction activities including land assessment, preconstruction planning, budgeting and permitting. He is the conduit for a seamless transition between the client, consultants, and the construction management team from project inception to completion.
Marcel Feuchter - VP, Construction
Mr. Feuchter is a managing partner with over 30 years experience in multifamily development including concrete high rise, wood frame midrise, commercial and light industrial construction. Mr. Feuchter holds a Civil Engineering Technology Diploma. He has successfully developed over 500 multifamily units in BC, AB, ON and over 1,000 units in London, UK. Mr. Feuchter provides team support for all aspects of the construction process including health and safety, design development, consultant management, preconstruction planning, budgeting, contract negotiation and awards. Mr. Feuchter works closely with the Senior Site Superintendents throughout the construction phase providing oversight and support.
Dennis Lane - VP, Construction
Mr. Lane is a managing partner with over 25 years experience as a leader in both multifamily purpose built rental and commercial development. Mr. Lane holds a Civil Engineering Technology Diploma. As Vice President, he oversees business strategy, construction management, and team leadership. Mr. Lane’s expertise spans nationwide having completed projects in BC, AB, ON, NL, NU, NT, and Greenland. Mr Lane's. extensive experience managing complex developments in diverse environments provides him the expertise to successfully complete projects in both high arctic and southern development markets.
